Doloc Town Daily Farm Checklist

Morning-to-night routine for crops, bulletin gold, genes, drones, and 1.0 automation.

Last updated:

Use this checklist as a default day in Doloc Town 1.0. Skip steps when story events, festivals, or emergencies override the schedule—then resume tomorrow. New saves should read Getting Started first; automation owners should also skim farming automation for power and drone station steps.

Morning — assess and plan

  • Check weather forecast — Acid rain, heat, or storms change crop and ruin plans. Shelter outdoor terraces; move sensitive pots under roofs. See farming hub.
  • Eat a regen or max-stamina meal — Before climbing; see stamina foods.
  • Open bulletin board — Accept timed orders with rewards you can finish today. Tech Points fuel priority unlocks.
  • Scan storage — Restock hotbar: water, tonics, seeds, gift items for NPC routes in the walkthrough.
  • Charge / repair drone — Full battery before combat or long map routes. Verify equipped modules from drone module tiers.

Mid-morning — farm core loop

  • Harvest ripe crops — Prioritize bulletin goods and cooking inputs.
  • Water / tend manual beds — Until sprinklers or ag-drones cover platforms. Upgrade tool tiers if stamina hurts.
  • Plant rotation — Match season and gene plan on gene notes; consult crop gene tiers for resist stacks.
  • Animal pass — Feed livestock, collect milk/eggs if ranching unlocked.
  • Process goods — Run crafting machines while traveling vertically (planks, ingots, wires).

Midday — town and economy

  • Turn in bulletin progress — Partial turn-ins if timers allow split delivery.
  • Shop and vendor sweep — Buy seeds, rare ingredients, rotating stock.
  • Friendship gifts — One or two targeted gifts if chasing recipe unlocks.
  • Guildmaster / story ping — New Tech Tree nodes or chapter markers?
  • Sell surplus smartly — Processed beats raw; keep materials quest reserves.

Afternoon — projects

  • Build / expand platform — One construction goal per day avoids resource scatter.
  • Gene lab session — Only when backup seeds logged; never roll without spare stock.
  • Faction project donate — Wood/stone/fiber sinks for buses and outposts.
  • Fish or forage window — Weather-specific herbs and lightning plants if power-building.

Evening — exploration block

  • Eat combat or elemental meal — Heat/acid tonics before ruins.
  • Ruin or cave run — Target one material: copper, iron, cores, or relics for Old City Ruins prep.
  • Drone combat discipline — Lock-on practice from drone combat guide; retreat on low battery.
  • Return before soft curfew — Night visibility and traffic hazards punish late returns.
  • Deposit loot — Sort into ore, craft, quest hold crates per items hub.

Night — wind down

  • Cook tomorrow’s buffs — Prep meals while stations idle.
  • Quick greenhouse pass — Winter / indoor crops if applicable.
  • Automation sweep (1.0) — Confirm solar/wind storage, drone stations fed, indoor mini hub queues clear. Details in automation guide.
  • Update gene notes — Record today’s mutation results.
  • Save game — Before experimental gene rolls or risky mod installs from Workshop.

Seasonal reminders

Spring: Fast crops, tool upgrades, first gene lab unlocks.

Summer: Heat meals, water storage, drone cooling routes.

Autumn: Bulletin spikes, festival prep from updates.

Winter: Greenhouse focus, nutrient genes, indoor automation expansion.

When the day goes wrong

Crops died to acid? Note missing resist genes, rebuild beds, do not panic-replant three experiments at once. Bulletin failed? Learn craft requirements for tomorrow’s board. Drone destroyed? Rebuild module from crafting stock and practice in tutorial arena.

Consistency beats intensity. One checklist day at a time turns a scrap pile into a vertical Eden.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How long does a full checklist day take?

Early saves may need 25–40 minutes of real time. Late automation saves compress farm chores but exploration blocks still scale with map depth.

Should I follow every step?

Treat it as a default template. Story days, festivals, and emergencies override routine—resume the checklist the next morning.

When do automation steps appear?

After unlocking the automation Tech Tree branch in 1.0. Until then, skip the automation sweep and focus on manual watering and crafting.

What is the highest priority daily task?

Weather check and bulletin board review—they prevent crop loss and maximize Tech Points for unlocks.

Does the checklist work with mods?

Yes, but modded crops or drones may add steps. Audit Workshop mods after patches for new daily chores.
